Smalltown

I'm thankful to Christ for the redemption blood that saves me and you.  It's been a year since I lost my mom; my best friend.  My heart still missing her substantially but it's only for a time because I look to a future that Christ holds for us.  I look to a time when all who sleep will be awakened and the dry bones will find flesh and breath again ( Ezekiel 37: 1-14).  I'm thankful that though we fail Him, He will not forsake us to sheol.  What a statement He has made when he said I will give my sinless life so that they might have life abundantly, ( John 5: 19- 29).  He has given me an abundant life one that has been blessed with people in my life that loved me and gave me all of themselves, my mom was one of those people.  I know that God placed her in my life to help mold me. This woman gave me strength, joy, and love which makes me ever grateful for the time that will come when I will see her in her true form.  It's a beautiful thing to witness the Glory of the Lord in people it only comes in glimpses and does not stay long.  Those moments change you and make you want to come closer to Him so that you might do the same and show His Light for the world to see.   I leave you with this, your life is but a moment in the flesh but in the Spirit, it is everlasting and never fades. Glory be to God that one day we will see a greater gift that He has given which is a place called Heaven (John 14: 1-7).  A place where we will always see Glory.
